MetalArchives is this metal site dedicated to information about bands, lyrics, etc. They also can't tell shit about porngrind. Seeing as how around 95% of them are avid black metal fans, they think they know what porngrind is.

What makes me laugh is, they don't have CBT, Rompeprop and GUT up there, but in fact they have this darkcore trip-hop bands and shit, ahaha.

I seen a few people request CBT to be up there, and they did put it up there, but it was removed. Those retards think CBT is punk rock and only "sounds" like goregrind.

What's even funnier is, they put Nasum, Pig Destroyer and Cattle Decapitation (the very ESSENCE of grindcore itself) but in the rules they say they don't like the "punkish" side of grindcore.

And look what happens when someone tries to look up Spermany's Kings of Porngrind, GUT:

It redirects to a band by the same name only it's electro/darkcore.

I used to think they were right about some bands, but visiting their forums just makes me laugh at how close-minded they are.

That's because some metal vocalists have side projects that contain darkcore trip0hop bands.That is the only reason why they are up there , because it are side projects.I believe Pain is also there only because it's Peter's side project.

That is because according to them Nasum , Pig Destroyer , Leng Tch'e , Cattle Decapitation contain more metal than grindcore.The same reason is being used for Metalcore bands like Killswitch Engage , Bleeding Through and As I Lay Dying.They contain more Metal than Emo.Thus they are allowed on metal-archives.

I haven't really encountered a band where they were wrong about it.Although there are some bands were it is pretty hard to say what they are.They say Yyrkoon is death/thrash metal while others say that Yyrkoon is death metal with Thrash elements in it.

Though Derek , it is pretty pointless to discuss this here since 85 % on this forum doesn't even listens this music.And I did include the nu-metal and metalcore listeners there

Nope.A band can be the genre death metal and have elements of black metal and thrash in it , but the band stays the genre death metal.While a death/thrash metal band is entirely a death/thrash metal band.
Yeah I know it is kinda hard to explain
One of the bands is still death metal eventhough they a little bit of others elements in their music while the other band has as much death metal as thrash metal in their music.
And even that sounds very vague XD
