Im on both sides for this issue, along with opinions against both:

US side:
-Im an American and a patriot and I think this is a good country (besides for some of the gov.t crap)
-not all American english is the same, you have different dialects just like u do in other countries (southeast, New York/Boston area, Great Lakes, west coast)
-we have roots from other countries (southeast = British/Irish/French, New York/Boston area = British/Irish, Great Lakes = German, and so on)
-I say color not colour
-Im more familiar with American heavy metal bands (this is the type of music Im into) but I do know In Flames their Swedish

UK side:
-I have roots from other countries (mainly Germany but also a few others)
-even though most of my ancestors are German they migrated to the UK in medival times
-Im not against foreign countries since I have roots from them
-I hate how most Americans are getting into rap music because I hate it and like I said in my US side note I like heavy metal

Neither:
-I hate sports (besides paintball and ECW wrestling, which both arent really widespread sports)
