Hey, i was wondering about could somebody make a mod that would be like cs:s or BF2 where you push a button "v" for instance.. you hold it down and talk , other players could hear you speak ?
is this possible ? (for players with micro-Phones)

So wait, you didn't understand what he meant, so you just ignored what he said, even though he said that it cannot be done - and carried on regardless? You are an idiot.

Native means compiled from C++ code, i.e. not UnrealScript.

You are far not the first one, who suggested this, {DXS}Destroyer.

To make it understandable...

Beside the normal coding, which is done by UnrealScript and u-packages, there exists another area of coding. It's called native coding.
This means the code is generated in the programming language c++ and it's saved in DLL files.

Apart of the fact, that we don't have a coder who is good enough to code something like this with c++, there's the problem that clients couldn't download the dll files, like they normally download the u-packages or utx etc..
Since they cannot download that dll packages, for using the voice feature, their DX would crash.
i.e. BOOM, GPF, System hard error

Hanfling on DXEditing forums has created some native code in DX recently and it is pretty good (I have tested it) - He made textures that light up when you target them, and he made buttons out of textures.

He is German btw Nobody.

Well, Russians have created an mp3/ogg/wma/CD/umx... player with Winamp controller. But no use for it in multiplayer... I guess.

If there exists a voice system for UT, we could just port that to DX, if we have the complete source (including native code) of that mod.
