The Stealth Vs. Security mod


SvS Is a Multiplayer mod that focuses on the aspects of tactics, stealth and skill

THE OPPOSING FORCES

The Security force, Which specialize on Large Weapons and heavy damage, along with Surveillance and Alarms. They must protect the objective until time runs out. The "objective" could be a number of things, from a file to be stolen to Protecting an NPC, or even protecting various locations from being destroyed.

The Stealth Force, Which specialize in compact, effective weapons and well... stealth, need to complete their objective within the time limit. They have a variety of dark tunnels, vent shafts and service tunnels to approach, or they can take the suicide route and face heavy fire and die embarrassingly.

Each round will last 20 Minutes.

Each force haves a selection of 6 classes which come equipped with unique weaponry, items, and specialties.

The Security force classes are:
Assault
Defender
Ranger
Guardian
Medic
Special (Enforcer)

The Stealth force classes are:
Agent
Assassin
Spy
Hacker
Survivor
Special (Destroyer)

** The Special Classes are your Typical "Hero" classes. They will be limitedly available.

-In short, think of a more Organized DXAG and take away Augs.
*** There are some items that will take place as augs.

In order for this mod to go smoothly, we ask for help from the public:

We need 2 Mappers
We need 2 coders/Modders (Most needed)
We need 1 Available Testing Host
We need 5 Testers
We need 1 Moddler (and possibly animator)

Any and all help would be very much appreciated.

I like where this is going.

I can do skinning until I get my actual computer back, but this one doesn't have DX on it.

Then I would be willing to help with mapping.

well some of that would help, i do admit, but for a few differences, a direct clone wouldn't work. Also :/ Ide need permission to copy it

Why do you need a modeler or animator?

The weapons I thought were just reskins of the original DX guns.

We do have Real back-up weapons for the classes.
Like the SMG, would be a Micro-galil, and the 7.62 AR would be a FAMAS, or an SAS G3, the combat shotgun would look something like this

Also, seems to me Security has more useful weapons (Stealth only has two pistols, a crossbow and others.) Perhaps add a silenced SMG or a silenced sniper for Stealth?

Well the stealth are supposed to be unbalanced :/ But in fact they have more useful items. Like the Adrenalin shot, Spy drone, Light Amplification Goggles, And several other traps. :/ A Silenced SMG may work, but the class that i give it to will automatically be most used. :/ The weapons are Class specific after all.

I dunno man... sounds like it was specialized for Security to win and for Stealth to have an extremely hard time. =\

Exactly <_< But the point of the mod isn't a killing contest, its objective oriented. :/ I know and have seen objective game types in DX. So thats my plan, but the Stealth arnt going to be running a muck in the Halls of a Facility. o_O Most vents are locked, along with a trigger system that closes them. so the vent systems are almost exclusively Stealth, But Maintenance and sewer systems are fair game. Along with a Dark Atmosphere, The Stealth have more of an advantage, because of accurate weapons. :/ some maps will have MULTIPLE objectives too. <_< and is there any other way to contact you o_O.

These are all from a map called "SvS_Compound" which Jima B and Oddache are working on.
o_O the only thing Oddache didn't take too many Shots of are the huge system of Vents, and the Vault.

(Most Images are Both Brightness and contrast boosted, some quality was lost)

Well i don't much like the map anymore... it seems too much like your basic MP map now... SvS maps should be able to be easily converted into an SP map O_O
