That doesn't really matter, since clients will probably get low fps when 50 trees are displayed on their monitor?

There are some extremely nice maps here, but you seem to be one of the few/only people who have actually listened to the judges and given us a fresh scenario...

Sike, your map is the nicest looking and most interesting/skilled brushwork of any map so far, but I can tell you now, it's not going to win... because I take one look and see Paris DX and a scenario like [A]mediavel... nothing new mate... especially some windows look straight out of Paris_Metro level. Some guy has built a blimmin radio telescope, and another guy is doing the inside of a computer, these are fresh scenarios... I'm eagerly guessing how much the judges will balance concept with technique.

As for CPU usage and trees...

There are no trees in his screenshot. If he has any brains, he will take a leaf from Mainman's book and not ruin his brushwork with godawful DX trees... they just aren't realistic enough. If he wants to make sure he wins, he'll think about trees and improve on what exists...

And actually, remember GODZ_Hillz? A blimmin forest...

Tree mesh i made during 07 xmas - when nobody was watching i've cutted one branch for tex xD

I haven't changed defaultproperties yet - it's real fun to push or throw a tree :lol:
