Eh I must reshape the terrain a bit, reimport it and retexture (to fix unwalkable triangles)

By accident i used something from my other package in map. Players would have to download this 11mb package :( Bandwidth was too slow for it.

The center drops my fps to 40.
A part of the table goes into the wall.
Map is very creative, but does not seem "Multiplayer-ish" in my honest opinion.
But oh well, that's only my opinion...

I would like to congratulate you on one of the best maps I have ever seen! The layout is very well designed. Like Dex said there is a fps drop, but nothing that bothers me too much. Couldn't really fix that anyways. The table is slightly in the wall, which could cause bsp errors. I am quite surprised that there isn't a whole lot of bsp errors anyway. I do notice one bsp error with the connecting tower cables on certain ones, but not that big of a deal. I think this map could work very well on other games too. Someone should remake it on HL2 or something for better recognition. Anyways, GREAT WORK!

I love the skybox, it sets the perfect mood for the map.

Looks nice. Wish someone would make a map that plays well on my shitty old Pentium 3 box but there ya go... s'pose I'll have to wait till my new pc has a home :-(

I like this, I think you've pulled off the daylight concept quite well. Just out of interest, did you use zone lighting? Or individually illuminate everything?

Also, I think it could do with a little more detail - especially on the corners / edges of buildings, and also on the flat building faces - they'd never be so clinical in real life. Although I do understand that it's not the finished product, and these are minor things to add.

Looks good.

EDIT: Just played it properly. Forget about the detail for now. My poor FPS! The map is very intensive on your FPS - try and zone off as many areas as possible (max no. of zones is 63 for a map, iirc) - this will make sure that only the zones that are visible currently are loaded by your graphics processor, instead of the whole map being rendered all the time. It is well worth doing - i did this in my big MMCity Map

I just tried out your map.

Some bsp errors here and there.

A couple very bad instant death locations along the outer fence. Even godded I died.
Run along the top of the fence and you will find them. Seems instant death happens at
the fence poles themselves. Inner dish fence is fine.

Pity you cant run along the wires to the middle of the transmitter/reciever.

As for MP, cant say until Ive tried it.
Lots of gas nades about so I can see areas being blocked off for periods till the gas dissapates.

Brilliant map in anycase.

^ Agree with above to some extent. I can't moan about FPS as I play on a hunk of junk from 1999, but the BSP errors will contribute to the bad performance.

Remove the BSP errors, maybe cut back on the foliage (nice trees btw) and you have yourself what I believe to be probably the best DXMP map ever made. Or maybe the second. Enemy at the gates was a kickass map (along with most of ShadowRunner's maps. Oh and Mantra's maps, too...)

I'm not with Leenuks on the instant death locations, tried running around the perimeter but, aside from having to walk around a few trees, no problems at all.

BSP errors!! If only you'd finish the darned map off....

Running along the TOP of the fence itself. Jump up with speed aug ontop of the fence and try.
