Shifter's is like a new "items" pack
Inso that it modifies standard DX weapons and shit with a twist; also modifies their uses.
It basically touches up Deus Ex, making splash effects for firing into the water, giving skill points for killing grays and such and for stealth, giving you the ability to give weapons to allies (like Miguel).
It's like Smoke's mod, if you've ever tried it.
edit: Besides, no one does weapon packs anymore, besides I.

I'm not too keen on mods that overwrite default deus ex files, especially DeusEx.u
