Play Blackjack, in Deus Ex! It's as simple as that.

To summon, type Summon Gambler.VideoBlackjack

Known bugs with this are:

Split does nothing. It's still being coded, so you can't use Split. D:

Well that's weird. A shame too, as the only other place I put it was on DXEditing, which went down ages ago. :(

Oh well, I recently found out that the external HDD that contained the sources of some Proof of Concepts & unreleased mods (both DX related, like, uploading DLL's to a client, and other interesting things) died on me. I can try to recover it, but I think it would take me too much time. It's a pity losing such stuff, yeah.

Im gonna use this chance and say that youre the only coder, Alex, who ever successfully took a step in the right direction concerning gameplay itself. Its a pat on the back that you deserve. I think they are unfinished and as such somewhat disappointing, but nobody else during all these fucking years bothered to actually release something as playable as you that would also fall into the intended category of modifications.

Uh, quite unexpected, but thanks, I guess. But aren't you forgetting DXAG for example, or what exact kind of mods are you thinking of?

Im thinking of mods that would enhance the existing game, not entirely covert them :)

It's not there anymore, unless if I can get that HDD working or if I suddenly happen to find the files on a different HDD. Nevertheless, it's too dangerous as well, to just use on any server. The latest version of MMAdvBan worked by using a custom made DLL, but I secured that mod to only work on my server. Thankfully, when DejaVu broke into my PC and stole the sources of several mods (including MMAdvBan) he didn't find the DLL loader, so the mod was quite useless to him, hehe.

But it may benefit more.. More secure and advance anti-cheats.. More custom and amazing stuff.. like using OGG format musics.. having alot of various nice things.

Doesn't UT99 tell you to download DLL somehow? Their biggest anticheat (UTDC) doesn't it have a DLL which is downloaded by a client.

Perhaps if not, maybe you could just make a message box or just a simple message show up to download this DLL from <sitename> and the server hoster can change the URLs or edit the messages?

I already made an anticheat once, which inspected files byte by byte. A bit like QValidate I guess. It actually worked without DLL's, I believe.

Is this what you looked for?

Had to browse through some old backups for this.
