-Restarts your server if it crashes ;
-Reports in its mini log if your server has exited/crashed ;

Thanks to all the beta testers and who gave me suggestions, the current DXSS is much better than my first try.

I hope you enjoy it =)

Im working at DXSS v3, new feature for now:

-Make requests to servers like Google's, Microsoft's or Apple's to check if your computer is online.

Dunno, I heard from literally every programmer I know that .NET is pretty good.

For programmers yes, as it requires less work from them. But for end-users, it's worse as it requires the bloatware framework to be installed.

I would agree with you but seeing as NET Framework is basically used in most upcoming software (most applications I use) including video games I don't think anyone would care because it'll already be installed.

DEFINITELY could have done it without it though.

Doesn't it come preinstalled on Vista and 7?

I don't know, I use my own custom build of XP which takes up about 300mb of HDD space 8)

My main priority is fast rendering and processing times for all my architectural modelling / drafting stuff so I don't see any reason to switch to 7 or especially Vista :wink:

ooh ooh, i have an idea, make a feature on there to open your server ports! that would be so handy for hosting nubs like me.

But the way you open ports depends of what firewall are you using.

Im making the version 3 with some new features like:

-You don't have to place Dxss.exe in DeusEx\System anymore, you'll be able to choose DeusEx.exe address.
-The application tests your connection to the internet.
-The program will be able to save information while exiting (FIXED).

Cya!
