That Resident Evil Mod,

Put simply, TREM is a Total Conversion modification for Deus Ex. Featuring the total conversion of Resident Evil 1 into Deus Ex's 3d Engine.


It will feature a whole new Single Player experience. And a Co-Op Multiplayer

Story-Line:

Borrowed from Wikipedia

The game opens on the evening of July 24, 1998 in Raccoon City where a number of grisly murders had taken place on the outskirts of town. Victims were attacked in their homes by a group of assailants with evidence of cannibalism. Local law enforcement sent in the S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team. After contact was lost, the Alpha Team was sent out to find Bravo Team and to continue the investigation. Alpha Team located the downed Bravo Team helicopter, but there was only the body of the pilot, Kevin Dooley, in the helicopter, and no other sign of the survivors; only a severed hand was found attached to a handgun. Alpha Team was suddenly attacked by a group of Cerberus (t-Virus infected dogs), which killed member Joseph Frost in the process, and they fled to a nearby Mansion, believed to be abandoned. Though they find out later in the game that this mansion is The Arklay Research Facility disguised as a mansion and owned by the Spencer Family.

Trapped inside the mansion, the four remaining Alpha Team members (Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, Barry Burton and Albert Wesker) split up and search the mansion for a way out and clues to explain the murders. At this point the player takes control of either Chris or Jill and explores the mansion with him or her. One of the first discoveries to be made was a member of Bravo Team, Kenneth J. Sullivan, having been eaten alive by a Zombie. The mansion turned out to be full of secrets and anything but abandoned. Scattered documents and computer discs suggested that a series of experiments had been executed on the property by the Umbrella Corporation.

After navigating a series of tunnels, passageways, and other buildings on the property, Chris/Jill discovered a secret underground laboratory containing detailed records of the Umbrella Corporation's experiments. In the lab, Wesker reveals that he is a double agent working for Umbrella and released the "Tyrant T-002," a giant humanoid monster created through prolonged exposure to the t-Virus. Upon release, the Tyrant immediately impaled Wesker on its elongated claws. Chris/Jill apparently slayed the Tyrant using firearms and Wesker triggered a self-destruct program to ensure an end to the laboratory and the experiments held there. After Chris/Jill called for a rescue chopper, the Tyrant burst through the roof of the lab onto the chopper landing pad and attacked. Suddenly resistant to bullets, the Tyrant was finally slain when the chopper pilot, Brad Vickers, dropped a rocket launcher and Chris/Jill used it to completely destroy the creature. Chris/Jill escaped into the chopper before the mansion exploded and the game ends.



Multi-Player Co-Op:


The game isn't only Single-Player, it will have a Co-Op!

This will feature maps, and puzzles which will require more than one person.

Bosses, villains and much more.

I've been keeping an eye on it, still awaiting its release date :P
may be interested in helping with the mapping or textures. been a little busy lightly, but have nothing to do on the comp, so i can put in a few hours a day if you're interested. so may post on forums.

why's everything for TREM look so dead all of a sudden?

We're focusing mostly on a demo of the multiplayer at the minute. Then using what we have from that (Menu system, etc) on TREM proper.
