Mini MTL 220 its a great mod now ready to rock, it fixes many bugs and errors, has spectator mode, stops cheaters and theres even some gametypes attached to it now... and many many many features!

The MiniMtl includes the following gametypes:

* Deathmatch
* Advanced Death Match
* Basic Death Match
* Team
* Basic Team
* Advanced Team
* Capture The Flag
* Advanced Capture The Flag
* Basic Capture The Flag

edit: OK. I installed it by running the change gametype command in server.

Its pretty cool. If possible, can you implement these features:
1. team deathmatch, where if you die you have to spectate until the end of the round
2. maybe another gametype such as plantthebomb, and have it so it is random and can change from game to game

Pretty awesome!

EDIT2:
After reconnecting to the server a couple times, the flag became glitched and would not move. No one could pick it up. Just one bug report.

Just to point out that Hasharin had no idea, that this MTL is made from Nobody's work or that it was taken without permission. It has been suggested to DV that he officially recognizes and credits the authors of the work.

As far as I know you are correct in what you say Alex. The community are discussing this MTL on various forums. People have been asking, can you clarify please:

1. Nobody is the main author of this mod?
2. Before Alpha left DXMP, Nobody, Deja and Alex all worked on this mod.

Since the original code seems to be Alpha property, please advise the community and serverhosters, what should they do?

1. Will Alpha work on the MTL and release the "genuine" version?
2. If not, plenty of people wish to use this one, do you object to servers using the new spectate mode?

I would like to make it clear also, I have nothing to do with this either and am not necessarily one of the people wishing to use the mod.

I cannot judge if it is safe, but I can assure you that several 'features' Hasharin summed, are incorrect. This - for instance - will not stop cheaters. Maybe some, but most certainly not all.

I don't think anyone's "fighting" for anything lately. I mean, these issues seemed so massive and important a couple years ago, but, nowadays... does it even matter anymore? We're all adults here with jobs and things going on in our lives, I don't think there should be politics when it comes to issues like our childhood games. Better to treasure the memories we had than to squabble over them.

not here but there are stil groups/ppl around that do anything in there reach for dx. And in my oppinion deja is 1 of them.

And me well im helping them mainly since i enjoy playing around with ued.

People who are willing to do anything to "reach their goals" are never good people, they're Lex Luthor types, which actually seems to describe Deja quite nicely.

He screwed over the community bad at the end of the day, and no amount of illegally obtained and then modified source codes will change that.

A year and a half ago, he attempted to turn the (remainders of the) Deus Ex community into a dictatorship by tricking people into clicking on his server that changed their gamespy master server to HIS masterserver. I'm pretty sure the only thing it did was kill off some online players that didn't play much anyway.

BUUT, yeah.. He does crazy shit.

How is a dude that used hacking, illegal methods to obtain certain stuff and 'game exploits' to change player's master server list helping the community? Is that guy the same who crashed MainMan's mod server?

What are exactly the bugs fixed by that new mod that were not fixed by the original miniMTL?

It's not so much "helping the community" rather than shaping the community into what he wants it to be.

-and from what we've seen this past decade.. He won't stop at anything to achieve this.
