Currently, me and a friend are checking out the UT99 packages and finding what we can extract and put on DXMP. we are trying to get stuff that you guys like. Answer the poll above and tell us! :)

Some Characters. Since DXMP haven't got any custom (public) playable characters in it's history.. as far as I know!

There were a few, it conflicted with MTL though.

Exporting UT chars into Deus Ex would be a revolution to DX in my opinion.
But it would be a pain the ass i believe :(

Hmm well since everyone is doing something here, i might aswell do that XD.
I might do the pickups( i just need to copy the part of the mdoa code of the syringe that when u go through the item, u use it( dont need to right click))

It was a DM pack, lets you play as characters like MIB or Walton etc for Death match.

If the characters were just MIB or Walton being the player classes.... and THAT conflicted with MTL?


Im sure there will be a few bugs with UT characters... But I will see what I can do.

Also i forgot to ask, how am i going to make an armor script for the tight pads and armor pickups?
I was thinking of making it so that the more ballistic damage u take, the less efficient the armor is.

If I remember rightly, didn't Vodun import UT skins to DXMP.

UT server in DX wouldn't hurt, I think FGS are fiddling with that idea already.

Tnag weps already... skins would be fun. There's a female skin isn't there, that would be cool.

As an effort to expand the community, it's logically a cool idea, bound to interest some UT fans.

Yes well, to export the female skins from UT to DX it would need either 2 things to be used:
1.Edit the texture so it can fit on DX´s female meshes
2.Export the female meshes into UT and use the skins.
But yeah skins would be good.
Even in mapping, UT has some great textures for alot of map usage

Dodging is in DX already.

Isn't that very easy to make? I was talking more about like UT 3d player models imported into DXMP.. you see new weapons but the same ol' DX models just 'textured' up differently.
