In October or so, I talked to Mainman — I offered my Inspired 2.0 server to host MainMan's City, 16 player limit, 24/7 server, for free of course.

MainMan didn't say either "yes" or "no". I wouldn't say he was interested in my offer at all. What really interested him was... Alex, and our conversation went mostly about Alex...

Hell I have to give it to mainman. That was one of the best rpg's i ever played. Great Mod, a Few bugs but, it was really fun. Would love to see it come back.

Maybe with some adjustments, the replay value was almost null, after you did all the missions, had the best apartment and guns, what did you do but camp in the red zone? xD Of-course was clever though.

The fact is, I usually chat with friends about DX and they start talking about MainMan's city, but I've never played it and this makes me get angry

I do hear that it's great, wouldn't want to try it, maps other ppl made can't alway's be a big deal too me, neither mod's, too interested in my own mod's and map's, because I like focusing on how better I get at and how I did and also what I did, heh, this is probably gonna be in someone's sig XD i'm putting this in my sig i know

Main Man, I remember you saying, when someone asked to host, the version isn't meant for hosting -

well... im actually taking a look at the code right now... and everything is saved into his deusex.ini. I myself am trying to make the server work, but i keep dying on entry like if a bad password were entered. I also cant completely compile the source as there are errors in the code. fudged to prevent compiling? classes removed?

No. It's unfinished, it's mid-version. (not ready for release.) I didn't give it out to be hosted, cause it won't work, only for educational purposes.

Yes, but you can take the last stable release and host that with the serverside package and you can learn the workings from the source i posted.

if there was no wars, no enemies, getting along, that would just be a gray world with complete boringness, mario would be really freaking fat if he can't run around jumping on goombas, link would be a wimp and isn't able to use his sword or any of his items, snake would be fat as well and very slow, in other words lol
