Umm d00d's i got 2.6Ghz, 80Gb's HDD, 512mb RAM, 512mb Graphix'z [ATI]
and i only max out to 20fps. in fire fights, max 15 depends on the gun, i prefer the Helfire boltcaster. sets ppl on fire on contact! :D

Noob alert

Ati only has one 512mb card (x800xl)

Also the mb is the worste way to measure proformence. (no profromence gain with more ram on the video card)

And my old 9600pro with every setting maxed and bloom on 1600*1200 was always above 30fps so you dont have what you claimso you must have wrote your system ram twice by accident  .

that game just sucks!

...no MP
...no modding
...no mapping

BAH

it was a waste of time to make it

Not only that, but the storyline was pants. The guns sucked and they all used the same ammo!

Its a disgrace to the original DX. The choices in the conversations are so obvious what path they lead to.
Perhaps worst of all, i completed it in three days, I couldnt even be arsed to replay it either.

It was a waste of time, money, space and thought.

yeah, like my words lol

well i can't say much about the story..
i played the half of the 1st level...
i didn't like their unrealistic multitool all the time
then i got stuck somewhere
and after i failed with all kinds of editing.. i removed it again
(thank god i didn't buy it)

Well, it was abit dissapointing, but the aug system has its ups and downs, like it is limited to 6 augs only, but it can be re-written (why bother?) and it has some augs that DX1 never had such as Bot Domination or Health Leech Drone which I find are useful. The ammo system was somewhat weird since it shares the same ammo (stupid mako ballistics), but when I played on realistic mode, it is quite easy to regain ammo since i played 3/4 of the game with my toxin knife. Worse comes to worse are the bugs that I kept hitting in the game! I randomly fall through the floor from a concussion gren. explosion and dies a horrific death (i fell off the world) and when I get stuck between 2 hard spots (crate and vent gate) I fall through and into the underworld... Whats funny is the AIs, they seemed alot more smarter than the ones in DX1, but when I got assaulted by some Panzerwerks workers in Trier, the SSC did nothing! and when I fought back, they shot me for defending, so odd AI construct :? The music was fine, not as motivating as the ones from DX1, love the NG Resonance though ^^ . It is awfully easy to gain max levels for your augs and you can get rich easily if you know how to save money. The secret weapons was abit easy to find. Overall, I give it 7/10 because the storyline was too short and wasn't as motivating as DX1. Graphics, I give 8/10 because it looks better than DX1 though I never knew dead bodies have no backbones o.O? and the funny thing was I threw a guy at the wall, but his head gets stuck in it (ouch...). General AIs, I give 9/10 because they are smart, but not smart enough, even if you play at realistic level.
No, I would not recommend it to others because it is simply not in the competition compared to SWAT 4 and F.E.A.R

btw, does DX2 have some sort of NG Resonance soundtrack? I like one of those songs...

Despite the fact this is a dreadfully old topic, which you will get warned for me thinks, Grayfox has been known to over estimate the performance of ATI cards on occasion.

9600 != 9800.

The 9800 is still a respectable power house. :)

No AA or AF, but full setting apart from that, aye.

Bah, I can't run DXIW on my computer, lol. Only 'cos of the stupid bloody GFX card, it's crap, simple.

I think it's a good game though, played and finished all endings on my friends computer.
