Yeah but it will be hard.
Seeing as there is no official editor, people will have to start it by scratch.
Really I see that remodeling and coding the first game on another engine or the same one.

I agree, HEY I think some of the guys in this joint could start workin on that, I've heard you guys got the BEST coders moders and mappers in the DXMP world.

DX2 multiplayer cannot be done anyhow without Ion Storm (developers), which doesn't exist. It's not hard, it's impossible.

Easily DXIW's best aug.
DXIWMP does exist, however that does not mean that we, who have very little knowledge of game creation in comparison to Ion Storm, should make it.

Well i thought about it and this is kinda the only ending they could of done that would of been fun,
If if distoryed area 51 its the dark age wow that is fun

Well something tells me that we shouldn't make a DXIW MP but I voted yes anyway cuz I'm interested in seeing how those maps can be used for MP. Also about DX3 I agree that we should because DXIW just left us dissapointed on storyline, however I agree that we lack a lot of resources in creating the game seeing that Ion Storm is dead

We COULD just make a 100% conversion mod for DX.... We have some really genius coders here, we have some great mappers, and I'm SURE we could find some great voice actors.

we need some creative writers to come up with a script with proper grammer, spelling and logical storyline. I would help but I have other priorities at hand.

DXIW is impossible, just like Dae said, simply because nobody owns the source code, if a member of ion storm was to release it now they no longer exist, it would become possible. If you wanted a DXIW mp, it would have to be recreated on a different engine, probably being unreal or valves engine. This howver would be a replica, that is the best you can get

really? i thought if the business had folded and no longer existed it was legal? for example the company who made the zx spectrum console no longer exist and you can emulate legally the console.
