I think that it could be awesome if in a 0 aug match a player can attach a camera to a wall and watch in spydrone's mini screen what the camera see.

Is it possible ?

What I would like to do is place a camera to a wall and have it write to a scripted texture which you place on models etc..

That's known as a sticky camera.

I want to have a camera screen of a securitypanel on a wall, so you don't have to hack/log in it.

That would be awesome for smuggler lockdown.

I did it once actually, but I ended up with a framerate of (less than) 1 FPS. Hmm, but, perhaps that was because the camera was pointing towards the screen. Thus, screen would show screen in screen in screen in screen, and so on. Oh well.

Did you make a scriptedtexture that was essentially a viewport, viewing the camera?

Then don't point the camera to the screen, lol.

Sure, that must be great if we could place a camera on the wall in multiplayers. (And why not in SP too)

Not sure what I did, can't remember. Was quite a long time ago (Few years eh) I think I tried ScriptedTexture, but it somehow didn't work, or something.
