i was thinking of making an underwater map, and including [A]Nobody's rings... IS IT POSSIBLE to create an object of some sort, to be able to respawn and teleport through the rings, (eg spawning at a underwater ring) and spawning some plain water at the other end where it just drops...

is it possible?

No, you cannot teleport water, but you can place a ring transporter in the water, though.

I think he was referring more to a dripping effect when using an underwater transporter to go to one above ground.

It's possible, but would require quite some coding, would be too much effort for a small thing, sorry.

meh ive had a looooong weekend to think of this (cant usually get on a pc weekends)

and what if i made a mover, 2sided transparent, portal and waterzone inside.. and make only 1 set of rings above water... then set the water mover to move into place instantly when the rings are triggered.. will that work?

At least you cannot convert a zone-portal into a mover and expect that it still works as zone-portal. :lol:

how do i make a waterzone triggerable?? (eg press a button and the water is gone!)

EDIT:

hehehe build a huge pool, place damage triggers or crushers at the botton and press a button and u fall into certain death *evil laugh*

Well, you might be able to southern rig something. You can use a partical generator to make water drip, place it under the teleporter, and set the movement tag to whatever you name that teleporter.. that's about the best you're going to get with this shitty engine. But if you do that to much, you'll start running into lag issues.. in otherwords, don't use 2000 of the things. In fact, I wouldn't really go with that idea since I haven't even tested it, i'm just kinda throwing it out there.

ive ALMOST done what NEARLy everyone says is immpossible...

just one problem

i cant make the triggerwaterzone :(

i read it and it says u can find the holes in UED...

they are NOT in UED just in game. and its only movers, and after they've moved i get the errors
