You can search googles for samples.. Thats what i did.. And if you have like a microphone, you just go and open any music you got and record the part that has guitar from recordpad or what ever it was called.. Its a default windows program
I actually used a few creations of my own (including some ridiculous deus ex remixes with sound effects etc) in a map of my own, but they were made in magix, then exported to mp3... HUGE file sizes!
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
I remember this [242]Zulu.Dark guy, he had some 50 cent music in his map lmao, anyway it was 4mb and an entire song. So there must be a way to make it smaller
I'll ask him lmao
Edit: Welll you can get your files down to 5mb ish if you export them as MP3 (32kbits, mono) in Magix Music Maker, open the MP3 file and export as wave (8000hz, mono) and... well you know what to do after that.

When life gives you lemons... Squeeze them into your eyes and run across a busy intersection, faggot.
I remember that during my time in the DXMP — even thought I've never voiced this — I really hated when the authors of small maps (or big, but still worthless ones) used custom music which could be 4 times bigger than the map file. And seeing that 70% of the custom maps in the DXMP are utter shit, most of the time a custom track was the only worthy part.
True. Just been playing DXMP_RatEsc, and was longing for some custom music (normal DX music drives me crazy these days, but still - some music is better than no music).
Mastakilla, I see what you mean about 32kbps MP3, but the sound quality would be shit, rendering the size reduction pointless!
