Is there a reason why newly imported 3D Models turn out like this?

Have you converted the model to the Deus Ex format?

U have to use a program called unr2de that converts unreal models into deus ex models ( if its an unreal model u are using in the screenshot)
P.S I just found out that u are converting facing worlds in the picture XD .Nice, hope it turns out good :D

Well, first I took a model from UT99 and turned it into a .3d file... then I compiled it to a U package.. does that mean converting to deus ex format? lol

UT99's models are not similar to Deus Ex's models
First, you ahve to run unr2de to convert UT99 models to Deus Ex models

Ok atrey do this:
1.Get unr2de
2.Place it where the models are
3.Go to DOS Command Prompt
4.CD to where ur models are and the unr2de is
5.Type this: unrde2 *model name without the _d or the _a*
For example, if i have my meshes named Brute_a.3d and Brute_d.3d, i would type:
Unrde2 Brute
Hope it works for u

ye, if your deus ex is at C:\DeusEx, then simply type cd C:\DeusEx
if it's on an another drive, you have to write down the letter of the drive e.g. F:
then enter, and cd F:\DeusEx or whatever
and it's unr2de, not unrde2 ;)
