okay so i am trying to figure out how to make a door. and honestly the tuturols do not help. i mean they are great for everything else but when it comes to actually creating a door period i can not do it. and i need some personal help. i would like to know if anyone would be willing to guide me through it step by step because like i said the tuturals are not helpful when it comes to making doors. and i figured out how to do everything else heck i got a computer to say you just pressed a button after pressing the buttion :p

How about using TeamViewer?
download that software (google), and let someone do it for you? to guide you, that is.

The usual issue is that the mapper didn't make the door in a clear space, not touching any floors or other brushes or walls. If that doesn't fix the problem and the tutorial isn't working, then usually it might be some problem even more basic than making a door, such as how to align something to grid, or work from grid properly.
Try making the door, in a clear space within your initial subtraction. Rebuild your map before you start, make sure it is aligned or snapped to grid and follow the process properly, it should work.
