Cheers to the CBP team!...now hehe...think we can implement a few things to be allowed in it for a new DXMTL?..such as that dodge thing from UT that Bob posted?..it doesnt work in MTL servers. :(

Oh yeah, dodging pwns, i don't know why did they disable it. But, i think, we don't have to re-make MTL, just to make a little but clever mutator :)

By the way, don't try to recompile MTL - i'm not sure that it will work, but with some cleaning of code, i'm sure it will.

[MM]Stunt? hehehe!..I just got a weird idea but kinda cool.
A mutator that enables alot of weird movements in dx that are achivable without actually changing the player model movements (If so it'll be cool) like a kick jump off a wall!..hehe by pressing jump then jump again when it reachs a brush to launch a little off it or with speed aug a fair large ammount to the parraell side of the brush in a kinda of dodge style way?...lol this may not be usefull in anyway but cool never the less.

Yeaaaaaaa, it would be cool, but i'll try to do something like double-jump like in in UT04, as a start, but this your idea pwns. And I think we should create and manage an announcement topic of wishes to DXMP 8)

Yeah, no good coders here, and we need them, so much this cool ideas! everyone is in GODZ.... or aroung their community but what Nobody, JimBowen, Flib actually did?! JimBo did something, i understand (but no, not for the community, for himself and his server), Nobody did nothing (while he is amazing codder), Flib too... who else is coding in it?

Grayfox I think knows some code and we can always use JimBlows (I have obtained a agreesion towards Tom "Jim Bowen" Owen the last few days as he insults me in game after worring I was 'taking' Choco away?, lol obsessive love he has.)...Nobody loves a challenge. :D

There is a superb Half Life mod called The Specialists which is basically a huge stunt game kinda like the matrix, it works really well and i love the mod

If something like this could be made for Dx i would melt!

i already gave the UT - DX code for dodging

find the above in your user.ini file and change it to

DodgeClickTime=0.250000


then double tap a direction to have a small hop

If you need MTL itself, get it from here. This thing that you've downloaded is called "source", it's the source code of the mod... can't explain more properly if you dont understand...

Does anybody have Nobody's MTL extender handy on their pc...preferably with the dxmtldummy .u .... pretty please?!

I've been looking for it everywhere but since I stopped dx and now coming back, I've deleted it and want to start scripting again :-(

and nobody is around to send it or help me...:-(
