Cool Weapon projectile effects.

How do i make a weapon's projectile have a cool trail like effect like the Shock Rifle shots from tnag? Because i wanted to do some weird sh1t to some of the things like LAMs and Rockets, and all the weapons that go bang (goes back to his everyday life):typing: for some new modpack i may make <Yes, another one ...:S, my life is s0000000 unfulfilling...>

(Off-Topic)If you mean for convo's on MSN, i never come on nowadays... Too much homework is bad for your sanity(And mine too, i got a month of schoolwork to catch up on from when i lost my voice...) It's a neverending battle to shut my cupboards everynight, due to the homework pile size...(I come here when i get a breather from all this...)
