Copy/paste will cause problems, so will 'duplicate', and so will having a lot of lights with radii larger than about 16.
Trust me on this lol, I had to redo a 25mb map because of that.

yeah copying is brains = mammal... think of something fresh
not forgetting "copy polygons > to brush" and save as .u3d file then load into your own map, to be homo sad-act major...
