Roleplay on DXMP?

Well I know it was practically the subject of a previous thread but I must see the discussion continue and it be completely acceptable concerning the rail of the thread. There's been mention of a couple of projects for roleplay on Deus Ex. But I question whether or not anyone is able to roleplay well, not just buy a gun from the shop and kill someone, but live. Have a character, and play him out as though he was in the position of that such character, and if he would play out his personality.
It's a good thought. More so is anyone else interested in this concept? If so what are your ideas and desires concerning it and how it will it happen and work? Explain to me/us what you think of this.

Personally, I'd like to see a post-collapse New York based roleplay server, with local chat, and a good post-collapse related map based in New York City.

Every time i think WoW and mainstream MMORPGS are sad, I'm reminded that there is actualy a such thing as dxmp rpg community.
