It went down (together with all FGS servers) in a month or so after it had been set up, due to hacking attacks (DoS).

yeah its amazing, kinda my insperation i guess lol.
thats why i love deus though, you can do anything you put your mind to.
good way to learn coding since its pretty basic stuff

That's true..

what I've actually found though while working with other engines.. is that the older ones are actually harder to use than others..

The Source Engine I found really easy to use..
the RTCW/Q3 Engine was extremely difficult as it is older..

Well no one can host MMCity, so he didn't contribute that -

He spent 2 years making it to host it for just over 2 weeks before disappearing.

you have a point, he should have atleast left the map, mod or something behind.
now all that work he did went to waist.
i'd rather see my mods an maps in someone elses hands, rather than watch them rot.
none the less he did contribute afew things, an hes still a good insperation.

if we all wanted main mans server back bad enough,
im sure between all the mappers an modders, a new version could be remade in no time.
not sayin to steal his idea, but to create our own.
