What do I type first?
That's right, the community alive. It keeps fools on their forums and message boards talking about their mods and what not.
Any trout sniff in any old game could do that. It deserves no appraisal.
It's always about the in-game skill. Those who suck at DX are always trying to make up for it by making some shitty maps/mods and then praising all over how much they are "contributing to the community" or "keeping the game alive". /flame
In short...
Fuck you.
Because HL1's Goldsrc engine is so easily accessible to run and create it has been blooming with life since its conception. You'd find that mods are only blooming with the base games (HL1 has a lot of modifications) to enhance your playthrough or show you a new experience. Without GoldSrc being accessible and allowing creativity with it's SDK there would be no players playing the vanilla base games.
Oh, and for the record, HL1 death match server list, I tried to include all of the pure servers:
http://www.imagocentre.com/images/37/ow ... eo_124.jpgDon't get it?, play Counter Strike (irony, it's a mod of Half Life), a game which is forced by rabid fanboys to be so pure that everything except Warcraft, surf and Hide'n'seek servers it is constantly the exact same shit. Every fucking time. If you have a problem with modding or new content then fuck off to Counter Strike which is practically abandoned by Valve and won't ever improve. I'll be enjoying my new content:
http://www.teamfortress.com/http://www.l4d.com/blog/It may be
official add-ons but they're
actually adding to the game, TF2 and L4D are constantly updated and CS isn't for a reason. By adding new content the game has proven to drastically change and bring fresh official gameplay. This is pretty much what MTL gave you now you're insulting them?,
shame on you. You need be happy for and to respect DXAG and Bowen (I'm not too keen on the playability of DXSG and the simple conversion TNAG-AltFire) because they've added a new way to play Deus Ex that lured players (Chococat) that haven't even played the original single player campaign of
Deus Ex.
Oh yes. Deal with it. I should be admin of these forums.
Oh wait.
Garbage that outbids standard gametypes by popularity
Popularity doesn't mean it's good!
