I've always appreciated the supernova from Smuggler's mod as a uber weapon. So simple yet so great.
As for 'balanced', the lollerskates from TNM are genius.

I think TNM was the Best of weapons on DX... But the weapons from 2027 are A M A Z I N G ! lol

Vortex Grenade, probably... if used without thinking first how to escape the vortex, it's suicide.
The thinking-person's grenade. And that "whoosh" and those Half-life-esque portal starry things.
