There's a man with a flat head. Why is there a man with a flat head?

I was going to buy this magazine but this is all I need!

Those augmentations sound imaginative.

Yeah, but it may have some uses but the tentacle one is a bit one-use.

I like the sound of some of the augmentations, my only concern is that certain augs may only have uses in a few places throughout the game, and those locations may be plot-related. The tentacle bungee jumping thing sounds cool in theory, but how many times will you need to jump off the side of the building (think though, who said you can't climb down the tentacles, if you can use them as a bungee cord. why not?).

And the augmentation to kill enemies through walls or kill multiple enemies also sounds wicked, but extremely overpowered. These augmentations sound like they would only be used in one or two places because of how easy they could potentially make the game become.

I don't want this game structured like Project: Snowblind, where you only get the last bit of the game with all of your augs. I want them all available, not shoved up my ass when I defeat a boss.

If they make augs that can't be used on certain enemies due to them being too powerful or some bollocks I will be pissed

Yeah same, I hate games that restrict certain gameplay elements due to them being overpowered. It's bad game balance, in my opinion. And, I believe, most developers have a specific designer for game balance. Maybe they should learn to do their damn job.

DX is meant to be slow. DX is meant to be no auto-health. DX is meant to be both hiding in shadows and behind objects. DX is meant to have skill points and augmentations. DX is meant to have weapon mods and augmentation mods. DX is meant to have memorable and funny scenes. DX is meant to have books with parts of some great stories. DX is meant to have newspapers, datacubes and telephone lines which have been cut by UNATCO. DX is meant to have random bums on the streets telling you strange things. DX is meant to have the inventory as it has. DX is meant to have a Conversation log, Notes\Goals, Images, Logs, etc... DX is meant to be in the night.

First would be to change it to something like S.T.A.L.K.E.R or Max Payne (2?), to get your health up faster you must find health packs or dispensers.
  • Your health increasing over time very slowly (minutes to full health) which keeps survivability still a challenge.
  • Your health doesn't recharge until you're under a certain amount of damage, and even then it doesn't recharge completely.
To get your health up faster you must find health packs or dispensers

Second would be to keep the auto regeneration (and mix it with the above maybe?) and add two Health difficulties before starting a new game:
  • Regeneration
  • Classic, the exact health system is back from the original game including the individual limb system.

This will keep fans happy while still cater to the new crowd they want to sell their product to.
Also I want to note that I will not forgive them if they use the Call of Duty style Regeneration if "5 seconds = full health". Come on, no one is THAT stupid... make it 20-30 second like other regenerating health/shield games!

(Clarification, the auto heal will be more simlar to Chronicles of Riddick:EfBB, meaning for those of you that haven't playet it: The auto heal is limited, you will only recover a set amount of health depending on the amount of damage you sustained and will need to use meditems and stations to fully restore your health)

SUCCESS
