PC. You really should play it on PC... at least BEFORE other platforms.

There's literally no reason to get it on PS3 and little reason for 360 lol

No, just word of mouth from friends in US/Canada who've played the console demos/PC leak.

Random question, why dont PC games seem to have demos like they used to?

Yeah I remember the days, probably something to do with the download size.

Im seriously curious how the multiplayer is going to be and the chances of making modifications. Gonna investigate what engine its going to use.

DXHR uses Tomb raider: underworld's engine.

There is no editor for it so far..

It uses a modified version of the Crystal Dynamics Engine. It's quite lovely though with the changes they made to it.

It doesn't have multiplayer, however... files were leaked, etc. So we might see multiplayer down the road alongside an SDK.

All we can do is hope for the best, but the game looks absolutely promising.

^dickz.

They coulda implemented better facial anims though, source's face thingy (I forget the name) still leads the way.

The graphics REMIND ME (not to say they look like) the following games:
Project Eden
Mass Effect 2
Doom 3
DX:IW

Anybody else have similar sentiments?

I'm paying for this on release day. I will be on play.com as soon as I've got cash. Fuck the price it'll be worth every penny, even if it turns out to be shit! I paid £5 for Deus Ex 1 (sold-out edition, GOTY), and to this date it's the best fiver ive ever spent.

I have 100% faith they'll release some form of modding tools post release. An SDK is most desirable though.

This, same as me btw.

I wanna play the game badly, but i don't wanna be playing some crappy PS3 port, tempted to just hold on and get the PC version sometime, Deus Ex is worth waiting for, we all know how rubbish the PS2 version was.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm

I enjoyed playing the PS2 DX1 because I'm obsessed with the game and anything DX-related is interesting to me.

It was, err, different?

LOL. Nah it was complete 'n' utter shite, but certain improvements were made over PC version. I can't think what at the mo, perhaps I'll read the review on kentie.net to refresh my memory. Only ever played a few maps at a mate's house I've never owned a games console since my Sega Mega Drive II. Which I still own. And play....

But anyway yeah since I cba to read whole thread what's looking cheapest atm for standard DX:HR?

^Agreed. With second part. SOME changes were okay I found, but the fucking loading screens....... saying that, the loading screens in DX:HR leak were irritating, and I have a pretty fast PC with an SSD... s'pose it's just beta-ness going on.

DX:HR pre-ordered btw. Fuck it, I want it that bad I've spent my last spare cash on it.

Because I'm sick to death of people asking me, I've preordered the collector's edition.

I was going to get the augmented edition and import the dollies, but the prices of them are absurd. Going to have to go to a *snort* nerd convention to get Barrett and Fed cheap.

On amazon, the 'limited edition' with only the explosive mission pack is more expensive than the augmented edition with both DLC packs???

GAME has dropped the prices for Deus Ex: Human Revolution, it's now £17.99 for the standard, & £24.99 for the Augmented edition (which given I also spent reward points brings it down to a nice healthy £21).

I still think the Gamespot deal (in the US) is the best, simply because you get MORE GAME for the SAME PRICE as you would at amazon, walmart, etc. May be cheaper on Steam, but I'd prefer to have a physical copy.
