There is a newsflash on a German games magazine on the PC version:

For those who will not be able to read it:
- multiple screens will be supported (Eyefinity)
- stereoscopic 3D will be supported
- DirectX 11 (tessellation) will be supported
- graphic boards are supposedly more important than fast processors
- Gameplay concerning the handling should be reminiscent of the first DX
(button mapping, manual number input, no "press start",
- A video showing the differences is coming thursday

Look alright to me for medium settings.

Also, great spec requirements as well.

The comments are hilarious though: "too much yellow". REALLY? This far in to development you realise it looks like a beehive?

Just like to call it and say there will be something wrong with the PC port.

Yeah the textures look a bit weird. Hopefully it improves when released.

made my day

DX9 on release lol

but seriously.. we all know the tessellation is gonna suck.

Big question.

Is it still going to highlight everything so I can't think for myself?

for all.

It's not a port. Nixxies developed all 3 versions of the current engine build in 2009 before working on the PC version for them in 2010.

Been waiting for this to come back online to show you the HUD, there were other sites but they were low res screenshots:

Please note that you can also equip two items from the utility belt at once.

While game marketing manager doesn't seem to have any particular special interest in DX1, obviously we are lucky that Kyle and Jerion are PC fanatics and DX1 fans. It seems to have influenced EM at times here and there. How much so, we shall only find out later. Also I assume EM marketing manager is a fan of DX1, or sees the value of promotion, since he kickstarted DXHR's interest in HR mod and involving staff/forum staff in talking to us.

Textures - The ONLY thing now, that is worrying at all. It seems to be the way the lighting doesn't include shadows around the base of furniture or contours in the room's terrain. It could be easily argued/explained by saying that well, DXHR is more plastic and artificial because that was the world of 2027, pre-downfall, but EM haven't said that yet.

I got banned yesterday for mentioning a crack, will be back in 7 days. Oh well, I knew it was illegal anyway.

Yes Kyle is awesome, played a few games of HoN with him before he worked for EM.

He seems to be an Anglophile, especially where music is concerned.

lol James. Oh well, 7 days will fly by. Threads will still be on page 1. And you have two accounts :P

I noticed however a certain Eastern European site has a link to a crack on home page, and yet EM seem to give them media/screenies in advance of the rest of us, or give them exclusive screenies sometimes, perhaps EM failed to notice.
