I haven't yet tried DX:HR, but I noticed "Foxon Audio" in MrBlack's picture

Is it a reference to Steve Foxon, the composer of TNM, Zodiac, RedSun?

Most likely. The game is full of stuff like this, for example Omega ranch's Half Life homages, various nods to Stanley Kubrick including Jensen's dog and the nods to #chan culture. There's a videogames are too safe for children parody too.
