"I didn't ask for this" 0aug 0weapons 0items run. (spoilers ahoy)

My aim is to complete the game without using any items, weapons or augmentations, including takedowns and hacking. I'm also using this run to complete the "never set off an alarm" achievement.

I quickly found that in a few places you are forced to hack level 1 computers and terminals (door at the manufacturing plant, radar dish in derelict row) so I allowed myself level 1 when absolutely necessary.
Killed Barrett just by throwing gas canisters and explosive barrels.
I only just managed to reach the funicular rail room at Picus by sprinting past two stationary guards blocking the only pathway in. Luckily, there's no alarm for them to activate.
Was forced to use weapons to kill Fedorova :(. Only used the ones available in the room, and no EMP mines.
Since the terminal is level 3 and the password can only be obtained by knocking out one of the ambushers, I had to resort to destroying the two boxguards at TYM by throwing crates at them.
There's a guard sitting staring at the computer you need to hack to release Tracer Tong. I managed to lure him out of the room and then stack up crates so he couldn't get back in :)

However, after all my hard work I have hit a wall. In order to get into the female scientist's room at omega ranch, there are three options:
1. Hack the level 3 terminal to her room's door.
2. Sneak in through the air vent. The other end of the vent is only reachable by hacking a level 4 terminal (what the fuck?)
3. Knock out a guard and read his pocket secretary for the code.

So the only I can progress would be to kill the guard by throwing a box at him repeatedly, but there's no way to do that without setting off the alarm. :smt120

I'm guessing you're not too concerned about sidequests then?

Yeah Aidan's got a point, you're missing out on a lot of the sidequests this way which is a great part of the game

I already completed it once.

And yeah, I'm skipping the side missions. Most of them task you with knocking someone out or require hacking, so aren't possible :3

explosive barrel?, try saving and hope no alarms.

there's a code somewhere, there has to be. i would resort to knocking out a patrol guard or throwing an object at yhe door and move hoping the guard investigates
