I don't think that vehicles are possible in MP, I'm sorry to say :?
I have no plans for 2027MP at al also. Maybe I'll make some 2027MP maps after I finish development.
++DX engine is not a really good choice for making huge open areas.

Well I think if your going to do mulitplayer for 2027 I'd say make a different multiplayer for it as Deus Ex's muliplayer kinda blowed (sucked).

I'm not going to bother fighting with you guys so I will just state what I think and thats it.

When you own games like Battlefield 1942 and Unreal Tournament 2004, in comparison the tacked on Deus Ex MP is kind of shallow.

The Deus Ex mulitplayer could also have been better if it was well thought and had more time in production, but was just a tacked on mulitplayer feature to keep fans happy.

I'm not saying that DXMP was a complete failure it just pails into comparison agaisnt the mulitplayer greats.

Oh and I always felt the combat system in Deus Ex could have been better and I never really felt that kind of combat system really worked well with MP.

You guys can disagree all you want but I'm entitled to my views and different people enjoy different things so telling me I'm a moron just becasue I don't like somthing you like is stupid and you should refrain from doing it.

What I like about DXMP is the different system. It is slower, more tactical than most other games. The augs add a great bit of flavour too. It can't really be compared to battlefield and UT2k4 at all, since the playing style is so different.

TACTICAL? DXMP isn't TACTICAL! CS is TACTICAL!

As compared to UT and Quake III, DXMP is quite tactical yes.

They're the same except for augs.

DX is much slower, which gives you more time to consider your moves, and less ability to bail from a firefight, but I think we are more than a little OT now...

there quite possable the easy way would be a bit hacky write a new mover class and the otehr way rewrite the playerclass and expand the drone aug

that would be quite possable but the engine would need some optimisations mainly in teh area of netcode im sure epic games would give the source for the unreal engine out if it was for a mod

mainly becasue this engines almost a decaid old that powers dx it was made in 1995 then just polished up every new game till ut2k3 lol

Movers-vehicles? OMG, this would be really bad.
Drone based vehicle is also not a really good idea.

I doubt ISA will ever give dll's sources since they don't own this engine (because Epci Games has all roigths on it).

But will there be MP Mapsof 2027 that have 2027 guns and pickups?

That'd still be good enough. :)

Resurrection - has almost all stuff that 2027 has
And what is 'MP engine'?

Well, if I have time, I would make 2027MP.

Alot of the basic code of the Single player doesnt work in the multi-player. For example weapon modification things.

That can be fixed.

And why do you need weapon mods in MP? They are useful only in sigleplayer.

TNM have obtaind the code libraries for Deus Ex, http://www.planetdeusex.com/tnm this could mean a lot.
Ded you and TNM are our last and very promising hope for Deus Ex glory, why don't you ask them about it they have already said they will be releasing everything to the public. Your genius would be greatly apreciated.
