Yeh, Sounds pretty hard, maybe somthing for a dull weekend, when you've got nothing to do.

So did you manage to implement and vehicles like helicopters or cars yet/

I don't think that one weekend will be enough to do this, even for single model.

I will work on vehicles system only after all maps will be finished.

How many maps do you guys have left to do.

btw will anything from the Deus Ex retex project be in this game.

3 big maps + around 8 small.

Retex? Nothing. But 2027 will have everything from the Resurrection project.

I had that idea long time ago (when I was only planning to make a DX mod), but now I don't think it is a good idea.

But Credits is sooo generic, the mod is mainly in Russia right? Why not Rubles? :D
It just adds that little level of detail that people will notice :D

No, it only have 2 chapters (and 2027 has 6 in total + 1 for epilogue) in Russia.

Can we expect a whopper of a twist in the story, and 3 dimensional characters instead of stereotypes, that mods seem to love putting in.

Well, I can ensure you that the story is the strongest part of the 2027 mod.

Yeah, from one of my favourite anime by the way.
Something about NGE... I started making my mod after I've finished watching NGE. So it is like a source of inspiration for me. And you can expect some parts of the 2027 story to be really close or similar to some NGE's parts (mainly philosophy).

How will you travel around? By boat, by train, by helicopter, can you hire someone to bring you somewhere with different consequences, if so, how much will it cost?

Mainly by helicopter, but also by boat and by train.
No, you can't hire pilots. This will require me to redone lots of cutscenes (around 10) for each pilot.

Are the cutsences more visually pleasing to the eye then the ones in the original Deus EX

yes

you could send it to all the major game magazines

they put zodiac on one of their months episodes

you could maybe do the same with a far better mod :roll:

I'm sure if Ded emailed a mag when its done they would put it in, and I'm sure a few would put it in regardless, because it looks so good.


Cutscenes in DX were really great...
I have plans to make a couple of fully-new-motion cutscenes (cutscenes that will use old NPC meshes with all-new custom animations).
Well, some of the cutscenes are not so great as DX's, but since there are lots of cutscenes in total (around 15), it won't be a problem.

15 thats alot, the original deus ex only had proper cutscenes at the start and end of the game didn't it.

Oh by the way Ded, the game magazine here rejected the offer due to some silly BF1942 mods.

if you make a mod thats super and get it onto a big pc magazine

it may make all the oldies of DX pick up their copy and re-install DX

The australian PC mag PC powerplay would put it on there coverdisc, the editors of that mag love Deus ex, I even think that the editor was working on a Deus Ex mod at one point because he was dissapointed that no one had made a good one, either way heres there link www.pcpowerplay.com.au, I think its the best selling PC game mag in australia.
