I have plans for releasing trailer video really soon. It depends on how soon I will get video-capture hardware.

I'd better wait until I get video-capture card, so the video will have really nice quality.

And besides, FRAPS lags your game like there's no tomorrow.

Hey, after looking through your great screens again I noticed that non of them (except one) contained NPC's, How many NPC's can we expect to see walking around each area.

It depends. On some maps (like night Moscow) there are only hostile NPCs (and very few friendly). But when you visit Moscow again, in winter, you will meet at least with 8 friendly NPCs and no hostile at all! Moreover NPCs alliances depends on what task you have done, or if you killed someone from the group of that NPCs (like if you kill someone from the gand, the whole gang will be hostile towards you. forever!)
I'm making screens without NPCs because I think it looks better in that way.

Just new textures + I found that some features of original meshes were not used in DX, so I used them in 2027 (like hidden parts and etc.).

Ded, that is very, VERY impressive. The only bad thing I can discover is the hand-through-weapon, but other than that minor thing, it looks beautiful.

Oh, well, it's really hard to make rifles that will match original game's meshes (they were desinged only for small short assault rifles and shotguns, but not big rifles like AK74)

I'am not a good artist, so it takes me around 2 days.
Well, the flamethrower effect doens't look really good on a screenshot, but it looks awesome in game (every fireball has 15 frames).

Those and NPC's look really great, when you said they were just going to have new skins I was a bit worried but you have restored my hope great work.

And the flame thrower effect looks like its going to look really really great.

Is it possible for you to fiddle with the animations and get the charactera and NPC's to move there hand into the right position.

Can't wait to play this mod.

This will require me to redone all NPC's animations. As fa as I know, no one have done this before, because it is a damn hard and long work.

So its possible but hard, whats so hard about puting in new animations into the unreal engine, people do it all the time don't they, or is it different with Deus Ex.

To put new animations I will also need to redone ALL animations...

Doesn't the old unreal engine draw on its animations from an animation libary and can't it blend its animations, (I only have a vague Idea bwhat I'm talking baout here)

Yeah, it uses animations lebrary in its models, but to add new animations in that library you need to redraw all animations from it (for this model). Each NPC model has around 400 frames of animations and there 10 NPC meshes in total. I don't think it worth it.
