In this thread, we discuss ways that they could make DX3 not fail like IW.

Im talking weapons, characters, storyline etc.

Well I felt that the weapons in IW were big and ugly, and the crosshair was too fisher price

I hated the fact that people would stay hostile forever if you did something wrong. (In normal Deus Ex they simply were normal again after a short while) it was pretty impossible to continue playing at some points as you had to talk to someone being hostile to you. Only way was to sneak up on him and hope you'd be able to talk before he runs away.

I think the maps need to be bigger, more expansive and more explorable. There just wasnt enough interactivity and exploration possible in DX2.

An option for those that completed DX1 to continue on their path and about.. 2-3 missions in, they can intertwine all 3 DX1 endings, so as not to create 3 separate games.

Main reason I was angry at DX:IW. Game introduces you to and forges a relationship between the player and the protagonist, then with the sequel they throw that away, and make you fight the character you once were?

Bullshit imo.

Also, bring back Sam Carter. I liked him, he wasn't against you, but he wasn't necessarily for you either, he was sort of just there to cover his own ass. Made the game feel like there was people that were not directly related to you in the gameworld, but you could still have contact with them other than right click - barks.

I HAS BRILLIANT IDEA.

Instead of choosing what your character looks like, have the option to CHOOSE AUGS OR 0-AUGS. HOW DO I BOOST SALES BY EXPANDING FIELDS OF PLAYERS INTEREST _/(O_o)\_

well the sp games are all based on the fact the character has bio modifications. Its up to you if you use them... you couldnt have a dx sp game without augs imo...

Last boss in Pokemon Gold/Silver.

Same scenario, no-one complained about that.

On-Topic: Make DX3 branch off of DX1, but be able to pick between the 3 endings from the original game.

Completely fuckan different.

Red in G\S\C was just a Pokemon trainer.

The relationship between you and your character is non-existant as YOU ARE the character. JC was his own person, you uncovered his past, and his role in the world. Red was\is you. Remember, even after you changed your name in DX, your real name was still JC Denton.

Don't incorporate fucking shared ammo into DX3. If they do, it'll suck ass. I hated the shared ammo bullshit in DX:IW, it wasn't realistic and it was fucking annoying.

Lol yeah, I remember playing around with the flamethrower, shooting it totally empty as I wouldn't use it anyways. Only then I noticed all ammo was shared and was forced to either restart the game or only use that weird sword.
