redirection to parallels?

I can't seem to connect to the fgs site anymore; it simply redirects me to some advertisement for parallels (which seems to be some website creating software). For a bit i was able to access it by using my google cache that remembered the old fgs site, but now I can't seem to access it at all. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Mine seems to work fine?

Possibly something installed on your machine causing the divert.

I honestly have no idea what it could be tho, and i've tried google searching various things to figure out how to get rid of it, but i've found nothing helpful or relevant

Is it happening with just that site or others? Perhaps try a different browser or try all 3, Chrome, IE and FF. Try clearing cache, cookies etc completely too. Site is ok so seems isolated to your machine, or your ISP.

clearing all that only fixes it temporarily... would be nice to figure out a way to fix it permanently

Parallels Plesk is the software they use on the server hosting their website, but you should only get that screen if something is wrong on the server side (which doesn't seem the case, as it loads without any issues for me).
What browser and OS are you using?

And perhaps you could check if you can load the website via a proxy (for example https://hide.me/) when you get the Parallels screen yourself. If you get a Parallels message in the proxy as well, the problem lies at the server, if it doesn't, then it's likely to be located at your computer.

I am using windows 10 Home, using chrome or firefox
I used that proxy like you suggested and it seemed to work (i didn't check other than the standard page: http://gravity-world.com/ )
so it's something with my computer, but what?

Edit: I turned off my adblock extension for the fgs site and it seemed to fix the problem. If I continue to experience the problem I will let you guys know, but for now, it appears to be solved.

which adblock are you using? Im using chrome adblockplus and don't have any kind of issues with that site. It could be that its some kind of anti-ddos measure and your browser settings are set to block any redirections, another thought would be browser hijack, but I think its just overtuned security settings. FGS works just fine for me with adblock enabled.

I'm using adblockplus as well, so i'm not sure what it could be then

It's so frustrating... sometimes it will work and others it won't...

My guess is that some piece of software is modifying the request your browser makes to the server. This could also be an antivirus, so be sure to test that as well.
Also, even though I doubt it, it could be your ISP as well (perhaps some sort of filtering gone wrong), so try a different PC in the same network as well (or via your phone whilst on WiFi is fine too).
If other PCs have it as well, then it could be your router or your ISP.

aaaaaand it's back to normal...... I honestly don't know what it is. I've tried all sorts of things. It just seems to work when it wants to.

Did you try the things I mentioned in my previous post?

I've tried looking into my antivirus to see if there was any way if it was blocking it that i could unblock it. I tried it and it worked on my laptop, so it has to be something on my computer that differs from my laptop (which i'm thinking is the antivirus, but again, I can't seem to figure out a way to whitelist the website for it. )

The antivirus is Webroot SecureAnywhere. It doesn't seem to have a way to whitelist any single website. Only disabling entire safeguard features, which I don't want to do.
