How many people here have finished SP mode on Relaistic without cheats?

I know i can......east....Unatco are such n00bs!

Yes, i LOVE Deus Ex Single so i've finished it in all types of difficulty. But that was hard Too many reloadings. Too many flying geps.
I prefer DX solution with normail mode BUT in stealth tactics and min deaths.

I too have finished DXSP in a variety of ways. The best approach is to kill anyone you can, and only use a combat knife as a weapon.

Hehe, I like the sound of the Combat Knife better, but yeah, the Baton is pretty sweet.

i think its quite amusing to give em a good spray with the pepper gun and then while they are rubbing theyre eyes wop em over the head with a crowbar........but if i havent got those weaps then i use a combat knife!

but then if all else fails i tend to pull my trusty CROSSBOW!!!!

i use Opensesame for single player.. No way am looking for multitools/lockpicks!

i use the allaugs sheat sometimes and get the spy drone aug so i can chase the NSF with it. HAHAHA

REALISTIC is not hard...its just like really life...one shot to the head mostly guns 'em down but it does the same to you...

AUGS: MOST OF THE TIME...NOT CLOAK OR SPY DRONE EVER!

NON-BLADE DEATH MELEE WEAPONS: NEVER!

COMBAT KNIFE: ONCE OR TWICE!

LAM: NOT FOR KILLING!

EMP: WHEN I CAN!

SWORD: TOO SMALL AND WEAK FOR MY TASTE!

GEP GUN: AT LEAST 30 TIMES IN THE LATE STAGE OF THE GAME!

NANO-SWORD: ALL THE TIME SINCE OBTAINING IT...ALWAYS USE IT ON THE MILITARY BOT IN PARIS' STREET!

Have you ever heard that Warren Spector concepted Deus Ex as stealth and min-kills RPG? I mean, that it's possible to reach latest missions without kiling. I like this strategy and i follow it everytime when i'm playing DXSP. If you want to make massive kills, go and play Vietcong. Excellent weapon physics and excellent enemies. All weapons you want. Vietcong is easy - go and kill, kill everyone who moves.
And i think you lie with killing bots on realistic with dragon tooth. It's possible, yes, but not everytime. I mean, in fair playing, without cheats.

No lie and its easy to kill that one...

in the knights church mission there is a military bot in the streets right...kill all MJ12 on the bridge and building...then proceed to the buliding the MJ12 you killed are...you'll see the Military Bot again and 2 MJ12...one commando and one troop kill em from afar...lure the Military bot to you in the same area...hide in the buliding where the MJ12 are and when its starting to walk again...GO TO IT!...Use ballistic Protection and keep attacking it from behind and run to make sure your by its fat a$$ then about 27 attacks later...bye bye...and an explosion that dosen't kill you because of ballistic protection.

This is the only place I could of done it safely...i tried the same tactic on a smaller sercurity bot but got ripped with bullets.

I have completed it 5 times without ANY LAME CHEATS! :

2 times on Realistic
1 time on Easy
1 time on Medium
1 time on hard

I've not actually completed it yet but i have come close...then i formatted...i never have the time really...
Also, i always play games realisticly, i always try to sneeak around and use non-lethal take down methods. It is a lot more fun (albeit tedious) that way.

Amazingly, I have never played SP. I just jumped right into MP. That is the only reason that I bought the game. One of these days when my internet is down I will tear into it, I fear .

I've only completed it once so far on Normal so I'll have to go back one day and redo the rest of the difficulty levels.
Most of the time I sneak around with my Dragon's Tooth and my Sniper Rifle, then someones sees me and out somes the GEP...

I'm not that far through I play it mostly 4 multiplayer.

I see that noone here understand that weapons are not important in dxsp. Go and play viecong or some other shooter if you like to kill.

Or you could play Halo...in legendary....I GOT SOOOOO CLOSE TO COMPLETING THE LAST LEVEL, then i had to go and i couldn't be bothered restarting it...

I understand that the true use of deus ex is to hack and and sneak i.e. play the game tacticaly. I feel this yet i suck at playing it that way.

I just picked up from where i left off last week, and i discarded the whole sneaking way of playing...big sniper rifle, mole tunnels....DEATH!!

What I want to do in single player but I havent been bothered to actually do it yet is to go around DX and kill every person in the entire game. This means all the shop owners, hookers, everyone, Itll be great fun! But I havnt had time yet.

Muahahahahaha, MASSACRE!!!! *cough* i always try to do at least the first two missions completely stealthily, because you can, i.e. the vending machine way on Castle Clinton and stuff like that...you get more skill points too.

i tried something differant the other day: i spawned up the Glock 40 that i coded and went after everything i could find in the first mission, i had it completed after 10 minutes, the commander went down after one shot in the foot lmao!

I fininished with all the different ending.on hardest level without cheats.
deus ex is so cool.

I finished Hard WITHOUT augs. beat that.

i beat it on PS2 before i got it on PC, i prefer the PC version cause of higher poly models and crisper gfx

but i never really felt like playing without cheats lol, i might one day
