[PATCH] Deus Ex Umlaut Patch

This is a small patch, I made.
After applying the patch you're able to use umlauts in the console.

This is quite useless for americans, since they don't need them, but for everyone who needs them (like meh), it's very useful. :)

You're american I guess.
That are normal characters, that are used in some languages, like german.
They're part of the alphabet.

Nice. I suppose it would be useful for some people! I might have a look at how it works though! :D

Lucky you. The developers haven't included cyrillics in Deus Ex :(

In German it basically adds an e.

For example,

über, is pronounced ueber.

Yes, but it's fucking unused. that's why I prefer ÄÖÜ!

Not that I know. At least it's not used in german. :?
But if you have that key, you should be able to use this one too now.

The letter "ё" in Russian is pronounced like "yo" ("e" is pronounced "ye").

Cool. Well, try if you can type that character. :)

Where do I write it? From "talk" mode in DX?

I tried Alt + 154 (Ü) but it didn't work.

With the console, I meant the common say-line in DX.

Yes, that's what I meant by "talk-mode", but how do i insert it? (Alt+154 just makes a normal U)

There are two ë letters in ASCII or whatever that thing is called
- first one is Alt + 0235, "latin small letter E with diaeresis"
- second one is "cyrillic small letter yo".
I think Nobody's patch enabled the first one. They look the same though.

ehh..
If you don't have the key on your keyboard, it won't work I think.
I have öäü on my keyboard, for example. They just didn't appear on the say-line even if I pressed them. Now they do.
