The changes are good but should've come months ago. There's no reason some of the games issues couldn't have been seen in internal play-testing (not including AH-related issues since there honestly isn't any other than opinion-based ones).
The most obvious problems for me are the really punishing affixes and the heavy biased nature towards ranged classes because of them. If they do internal testing like they claim how could they not have seen these?
Do play-testers find getting their asses kicked repeatedly by a bunch of fear-spamming, arcane enchanting, invulnerable minions fun or something? Are they all masochistic? Or do they honestly believe the idea of restarting a game just to avoid one boss is an awesome and entertaining procedure?
Cause I fucking don't.
The disparity between ranged and melee in terms of ranged kiting was never my biggest issue. My biggest frustration with the game is just some of the painful affix combinations you can get. Inferno has it's issues with the whole "GET FOUR DIFFICULTIES FOR THE PRICE OF ONE!" but I could live with that. I couldn't live with being forced to restart a game just because of one Champion/Elite, though. It ruins the entire sense of immersion, progression and is just not fun at all.
too long; didn't read: Wah wah, QQ. Still going to play the game. 1.0.4 looks freakin' boss. Hoping monk updates are as fucking awesome as barbarian. Am extremely thankful they're buffing classes as opposed to nerfing them all to shite (because god knows everyone loves buffs).
