They should take out gay units like the colossi and oracle and just put the reaver back in.

It would be a lot more useful if it could attack air units, or did a tad more damage.

Ground is what it should be, and colossi do a lot of damage. They shred through light units and damage smaller armoured units a lot.

Reaver is a slower, smaller, vulnerable unit but it is just more interesting and more powerful. Watch the video above and look at the slug thing.

Yeah i watched it, and it seemed pretty powerful. I'm watching a lot of vids on the mothership. It DOESN'T suck, if you use it right.

BLACKHOLE

If the resources are plentiful, It's great to instarape a single base, or take down every single air unit in the enemy group.

granted motherships suffer from shit health and lame standard attacks.. but there are a few powerful abilities that could become very useful in numerous situations.

Many new-er SC players tend to think it's a one-man-army rapeeverything unit, which is where the human error kicks in, and they die.

Be strategic, and careful, and it can be quite useful.

mothership is being removed because of the (gimmicky) unit type it is. it costs far too much and you only have one. filling with any other unit for that supply is much more desired.

where as, you're right because vortex is an awesome spell. look up "archon toilet" on youtube, it may be nerfed now, but it was glorious.

(sadly, blizz are a bad company in terms of balance/dustin browder needs to be shot as this isnt command and fucking conquer, the thor is now becoming a HERO unit similar to the mothership in hots. it has barrage which is odin's singleplayer spell which does a ranged aoe barrage. this was originally the spell for the thor anyway but it was removed because it overlapped with the tank

so why bring it back?, its like they learnt nothing from wol beta)

Also we came up with a HOTS build for TvZ (to remove the bad Thor change, and maybe removing the thor completely (rip my glorious 666 420 model))

armory when factory is finished
techlab on factory
imba thor
push

cut marines/scvs where ever

attack with marine and hero thor army with scvs to repair, or all in. this build is similar or pretty much the iconic siege tank pushes vs zerg
barrage = IMBA aoe with multiple instances. it can be controlled so you can aoe just in front of your army to stop the zerg attacking in a choke point.
hi hero health = imba thor
counters: maybe none. scvs and thor will be unstoppable with a marine army behind them. roaches?, lol no. banes will be either ate up by barrage, thor attack, thor's hp, scv/marine suicide or marine micro. mutalisk?, lol

SC2 is a gr8 multiplayer game for even standard and the growing in quality mods!

HOTS Campaign Shortened

Jonny Ebbert, senior designer at blizzard, discussed the campaign length in an interview with Kotaku. "Many players complained about the length of the campaign, saying it was too long."

After evaluating achievement stats, Blizzard also noticed that few players played to the end of the campaign. "We had long discussions on this topic. People from other teams said 'it's too long!'"

Thus, Blizzard has shortened the Heart of the Swarm campaign by nine missions, so that more people will finish the campaign. Thus there is only 20 missions, but Ebbert says "They feel great."

Also like I said I am not interested in ladder competitions because
A: I'm in work all the time and stressed out to play most of the time
B: Points system doesn't make sense. i mean honestly, honestly guys, deducted points for loss??? plus your gain/loss is almost random... and increased with the more retarded...

im happy i played more than double than i played season 2 and introduced a lot of new players. shame not many from

They will be facing off with 19 current code A players, meaning there will be 40 players competing in Code A this season. Changed format will be announced tomorrow at the group nomination.

The cost of Upgrade Shields Level 3 has been decreased to 300/300, down from 400/400.

The cost of Upgrade Ground Weapons Level 2 has been decreased to 150/150, down from 175/175.

The cost of Upgrade Ground Weapons Level 3 has been decreased to 200/200, down from 250/250.

The cost of Upgrade Ground Armor Level 2 has been decreased to 150/150, down from 175/175.

The cost of Upgrade Ground Armor Level 3 has been decreased to 200/200, down from 250/250.


TERRAN

Ghost

EMP radius has been decreased from 2 to 1.5[/spoiler]
Interesting PTR, shield upgrades were quite expensive so I can understand that part

although I don't get why the Ground Weapons research cost is decreased??

Protoss ground weapons upgrade affects all ground units.
Terran split up between infantry and mech for all ground units.
Zerg split up between ranged and melee for all ground units.

So upgrading attack is the easiest for protoss, but also the cheapest now??

Level 2 attack
Protoss 150/150

Terran infantry 175/175
Terran mech 175/175

Zerg melee 150/150
Zerg ranged 150/150


Protoss really has the easy way out here, with just one upgrade shared for all units, effectively costing 150/150 for protoss, 300/300 for zerg and 350/350 for terran. And protoss is known for it's quickest possible upgrades due to chrono so I really don't like that part of these patchnotes

Like, what is it with Blizzard decisions regarding all balancing aspects?, I know it is all for testing at the moment but their final releases are always weird as well.
