Updating Drivers...

Postby ~s0ap~ » Wed Mar 31, 10 10:19 pm

I think I found out why my computer is a being slower than a john deer combine, the drivers are extremely out of date. I need to find drivers for:

Logitech HID-compliant Cordless Mouse
Photosmart C3100 (DOT4PRINT)
Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection
Realtek AC'97 Audio
Intel(R) 82801DB LPC Interface Controller - 24C0
Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Processor to I/O Controller - 2560
Intel(R) 82801DB/DBM SMBus Controller - 24C3
Intel(R) 82801DB PCI Bridge - 244E
USB Mass Storage Device
Intel(r) 82801DB/DBM USB Universal Host Controller - 24C2
Intel(R) 82801DB/DBM USB Universal Host Controller - 24C4
Intel(R) 82801DB/DBM USB Universal Host Controller - 24C7

updating the drivers which you have listed will have no effect on the computer's performance.

No, it's perfectly heterosexual. Sticking a dick up your arse, that's gay.

And instead of guessing what may or may not speed up your PC, check to see which applications are being loaded at startup, and more importantly, which services are set to Automatic start.

Post a screenshot of all the services which are loading at startup and I will tell you what you can disable. Tell me also which OS you have, and what networking functionality you need (dynamic IP, file transfer over network, printing, etc etc.)

I doubt your CPU is being slow due to outdated drivers. Video gameplay could be an exception though.

If I was you I'd just been ruthless - back up all your great porn videos and bomb making .txt files on a memory pen and format/reinstall Windows.

Rather than getting useless information, I'll just tell you my computer is 6 years old, it has an Intel Pentium 4 2.8ghz and 512mb ram.

Shouldn't be slow unless you're running something like vista
