Because some players find some fun when this is skilled?
Ofc, I play sometimes some casuals games like Rayman, but only when this is for special events with friends. (For the new year, example)
But when I buy a game to play it many hours. I can't find the point to play billion hours for fun because it becomes pointless/a waste of time...
Instead of, high-skilled games where you up your skill/capacities everyday and try to find tactics to beat your opponents. Finally, all of this, create a community of hardcore gamers that enjoy competitive gaming and difficulty. You play cups with prize money and have an objective, try to reach the gold medal and win some money/stuff.
This is like you are accomplishing something.
My point is hard to explain and I don't think that you care much about, so I end it.

Happy, that some of you enjoyed the idea. I Hope the game will be as good as TrackMania games.
