I don't think you want to spend $1,800 on headphones. So in all seriousness, let us know what the intended use is.

Proto is dead on about Siberia V2 headset for gaming. I have a pair myself and love them.

For professional audio. I'd highly recommend Audio-Technica (as Jake has already mentioned), or Sennheiser. All other brands are incomparable in Audio quality.

It's a damn shame Genelec doesn't make headphones. Their coils are second to none.

They'd be used for listening to music from my ipod. I don't need them for gaming because I already have surround sound.

Well, actually they have 5 drivers, but they're ALL trash and they're ALL clustered around your ear.

Positional audio works perfectly with two speakers.

They're horrible mate.

Cheap parts, that are altered to give hollow MID so the mid sounds like fake bass.

The FQ is not precise at all. Noise cancellation is good, but most headphones have good cancellation these days anyways.

Most people wear them for the looks (& brand). However, more than half of those people will try and convince you THEYRE THE BEST QUALITY EVRRRR. :lol:

If you go to any computer store which has headphone demos, they'll have the whole Beats range on display.

You can hear the shit for yourself.

Even the premium ones sound like they should be sold for £50.

That's why Dr. Dre removed his name from them.

I remember being younger, I was doing an IT course.

I had an hour long argument with some dude who was trying to convince me Turtle Beach headphones are the best you can possibly get for gaming

I tried to explain to him that you can buy much cheaper headphones, stick a mic on them and get much better quality, and that surround sound in headphones is full retard

Since then I have grown up a little and don't partake in many debates. Let the retards be retarded
