DoomRL, the roguelike based on the DooM setting has had a recent graphical overhaul with sprites added instead of text characters. (You can play it with the new tileset graphics or play with using the older traditional text graphics.)

I'm having a lot of fun with it but I'm having trouble surviving past a 6th floor on Hurt me Plenty. It sorts of plays off as turn based survival horror as long as you don't have any vision enhancing perks. Try it, it is free!

I haven't played properly in some time but I'm aware that the auto shotgun reload while moving perk is great.

Shotgun, move (auto reload), shotgun blast, move, shotgun blast, move

You can see my top save where I died to the Arena Master on the 2nd special stage, you need a lot of medkits for him because he has an instant attack. ;_;

Tempted to make a marine berserker. I just want to see past the sixth level!
