Gaming IS possible on this macbook; but it gets too hot even after manual control of the fans. So I've decided to build another rig with myself going into a trade (instead of the Navy) after-all, and with Maxwell right around the corner what better time!

Should I wait for maxwell (I heard it's really nothing special)?

GTX680? Or wait for GTX780?

Motherboard suggestions (Otherwise I'll probably just go with a good ASUS that is not a ROG board)?

Case! What one!? Mid-size should be fine. As long as it fits the 680 or 780.

I'll probably just go with another 850w corsair PSU, sound good?

Heard good things about the indilinx controller... OCZ Vertex 4 SSD?

If your asking what happened to all my old parts... I sold them in an quest to buy a macbook pro because I am scatterbrained as fuck and could not easily choose a career path.

I've been out of the loop lately, so if anyone could throw in their input it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Look at Bitfenix Mini-ITX cases - they're super-compact, can fit dual-slot GPU's and full-sized ATX PSU's.

Very nice. I'm thinking the "Ghost" is more up my alley though. Compact design is cool and all; but I would like dem airflows.

Edit: Speaking of airflow, I changed chassis to the "Colossus Venom Edition"

Comes to $2,036.89 after Tax. Probably going to order within a week. Any changes I should make? Suggestions?

Haha, the tax and GPU are what really kill me.

Had I of kept my PSU and case, ram from my other build then it wouldn't have been that expensive lol. It'll definitely last me a long time before I'll need to (or have the money to) upgrade.
