The cold grey clouds rolled across the sky,
I touched your hand and asked you why,
This is our last kiss,
We share against my wish.
But how can I let you go?
When all I can think is how you'll throw
Your life away,
Please stay,
Another day
I cried, as I ran my hand across your face,
Life is just an endless race
That we all fear.
And down your face ran a single tear,
We stopped and stared, exchanging lost glances,
I felt so scared, I didn't want to lose you,
But you said you had to go,
And pulling me close,
Your gentle lips met mine,
And it was at that point,
Time ceased to exist,
And through our last kiss we shared together,
I knew our spirits are intertwined forever.
It was then you began to walk away,
I'll stand here waiting,
Until my dying day.
