No, although deleting the thread would not have solved the problem either (as it may have seemed). We would have to do the repairing procedure regardless of its existence.

And it did not break the forum, server reboot did. The problem revealed in that very thread because someone had posted a message just before the reboot, so basically it fell a victim of its own popularity.

Subsequent problems e.g. when the entire forum was inoperative, were caused by repairing procedure.

<s>Quite misunderstood, the only fact of the matter is that I and you two fixed the forum regardless, the only difference is that I didn't break it. My intent wasn't to save a thread or destroy it. It was to actually fix a problem you created unintetionally at first and intentionally after. No one in their right mind will want to waste their time ressurecting posts with 0 value, what good is quantity without quality?
Also, I don't care what you think I'm merely amused that I'm rubbing it in your faces that you (admins) are both weird with me and you hate it when I talk back.
