You might've seen the errors on the index page. Do not worry. Some page's cannot be reached, since they give a page with "WoW owned you" etcetera.
This was an attack on our hoster, and all index page's got replaced with that page. I replaced the forum index, so we can still browse here.
Just to let you all know.

I stand by what I said in Klop's thread of a similar nature:

So true. We pwn them with non-subscription gaming, AND better forums!

The database is still intact. It will be fine.

So was this attack spread accross many forums or just targetted at this one?

I believe Alex said this was an attack on our HOSTER. That means that it wasn't just our website. Your question begs another:

Did you read Alex's post?

It specifically said our hoster was attacked. If that's true (which it is, I verified it), then no, our forum was not the sole target.

I recommend deleting your index.php's or renaming them, until our Hoster fixes the exploit.

Ok, a few words from the hoster:

He and his co-owner are working hard to restore everything, it seems the hackers did a good job with the individual index file changing. Also, one they do this they are going to do a full system audit to increase security.

How the hell am I supposed to contact you when you're not on MSN? I was the only board admin online, when this happened.

I made a new index.php for the root, and I downloaded the basic phpBB2 installation, and uploaded that index.php for this forum, did the same with admin panel index.php

Notice: All session errors on top of the index are gone. I accidently added a space on top of the index.php, I deleted that now, so no more session errors =)
