I don't think I've ever seen Reservoir dogs, however I do want to see Inglorious Bastards. It seems like it's going to be good.

Yet you said earlier on in the thread that Tarantino wasn't a good director.

He's not. But I also said it doesn't mean I don't respect his style. He does have a couple of good movies, but that doesn't mean he's good. I just said I wanted to see that movie.... mostly because it looks like it could be good.

You don't know shit about Terrhanteenow so get the fuck out of the thread. If you've never seen Resevoir Dogs, you don't know his style. If you don't like his style it doesn't mean he's a bad director it means you like dicks.

There was no need for that shit what's so ever. Just because I haven't seen a movie doesn't mean jack shit, got it or does that not compute very well? I haven't seen a lot of his movies, so what, the ones I did see weren't that great. I didn't say he was a horrible director, I said he wasn't the best. That isn't to say he sucks. so how about getting off my ass for one damn topic.

I didn't enjoy watching Reservoir Dogs; but I did like Pulp Fiction due to Samuel L Jackson's antics.
It's a hit or miss for his movies and you shouldn't be calling out people because they don't like his alternate style.

I've seen all of the Kill Bill movies...... Pulp Fiction I did like actually. I've also seen a few others, but I can't remember the names to them.. there's one about the Vampires in this bar... I think it was one of his movies. It was good also.. and when I get paid, I'm going to watch Inglorious Bastards because I think it's going to be kick ass.

That's subjective in and of itself.

meh.. I stand by my he's not that great... but then again, the movies of his I watched weren't exactly considered his greatest. Oh and it's actually Bastards.. Otherwise my spell check would be highlighting it into oblivion. lol

He's not great TO YOU. You say "he's not that great" too much in a general matter when you shouldn't. Because, if he wasn't that great and people didn't like his movies then he wouldn't have a fanbase. And I wouldn't disagree with you.
You can stick to your opinion, I'm not telling not to. I'm just telling you that that's all it is: An opinion. And the matter which you make your opinions on are subjective (note: I'm being pedantic but it's true!).

Uhh.. that's what I've been saying.. to me, he's not great based on the few movies I've seen.... You make it seem like I'm trying to make everybody convert to believing that when I'm just upholding a discussion regarding his movies. The only thing I have to base my opinions on are the few movies I've seen.. which were even noted by critics as not being his best.. so.. I've never seen his best in essence. Until I do, I will stick by my opinion.. So you can stop being Pedantic about it.

To be honest I didn't like Reservoir Dogs when I saw it either. That's why I'm currently downloading it and planning to watch it again before the Basterds which I should have seen by now but I couldn't because I overslept. <.<
Pulp Fiction was my favourite movie until I saw The Dark Knight. (obv)
Kill Bill is weird, I personally really liked it but in the same time I hear very bad opinions from people about it saying how much of a cartoon it was etc. I guess they're thinking about the unreal blood effects and so on but imo that's just the style of Tarantino which you either like or not like.
The Four Rooms is made by four different directors including Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino. It's made of four parts each of them played by different actors and created by different directors, only one common actor who's Tim Roth. The first two parts aren't very good but the third and fourth which were directed by the above mentioned people are masterpieces. The movie itself is a comedy and it's a must see for Tarantino fans. Just to mention some of the actors in it: Bruce Willis, Quentin Tarantino, Antonio Banderas, Tim Roth, Madonna, David Proval and even Salma Hayek has a scene.
From Dusk till Dawn is again a weird movie which I didn't enjoy the first time, probably because of the vampires but I'm planning to see it again in the near future.
Jackie Brown is an interesting movie, you won't experience much of Tarantino's style in it though.
Death Proof is great, the chase scene was awesome just like the conversations.
I can't remember more, might list some later..

The Kill Bill 2 fight scene between Elle Driver and Beatrix is savage.
On another note,
If you don't like his style it doesn't mean he's a bad director it means you like dicks.
Lol!

I didn't like Kill Bill. It was cool, the comic book flavor is an interesting angle. Just felt immature.
Legion is still a moron.

Don't care what you think of me..... The comic book scene regarding the asian chick was pretty cool.. I will admit that. Once I see Inglorious Bastards, I'll state rather I've changed my mind on him.. I'm hoping it's as good as it looks.

1. Who are you to even insult me?
2. It's only about 4 years old and I haven't had time to make a new one.
3. How is that even remotely on topic and why is it people have a thing about flamming me for no apparent reason? I mean seriously, this is two topics now where I've had some kid pop off some random crap. do you guys really not have a life or something?

ye I saw it last night too and that joke was awesome
Very good acting, hardcore Tarantino style, great conversations and good casting. Music and fonts reminded me of Kill Bill, Johnny Cash songs appeared again.

Was it a completely different cast, or did he use the usual Keitel, Jackson, Madsen, Roth, himself, Thurman, etc etc?
Brad Pitt is a first time choice for one of his movies.

Well Tim Roth wasn't if that's who you mean, Eli Roth was. I don't think they're relatives or anything though.
Non of the other people you mentioned played in this movie, I could say that this was a completely new cast.

If you haven't seen Inglorious Bastards, it's actually very good. Okay, yes I admit it, I changed my mind about him.. If he's not the best director out there, he's definantly the most creative one.. and therefore has earned my respect.

You didn't see it. But I'll let it slide since you're trying so hard to stay in the good graces of the thread.
